After 15 years as DCC Accounting, we’ve rebranded to Magda. Our mission is to bring corporate-level strategies to businesses at every stage, without the gatekeeping, so you can understand your numbers, make confident decisions, and scale your business.
When I started DCC Accounting back in 2010, fresh out of my corporate job, I never imagined the leap of faith would grow into a firm that has walked alongside founders from launch to their first million and beyond. I’ve stood beside founders through their boldest pivots, and celebrated as their products reached shelves at Nordstrom and Barnes & Noble, among others.
We’ve been so grateful for the trust our clients placed in DCC. You trusted us with more than your numbers; you trusted us with your vision. And through that trust and collaboration, we’ve continued to anchor into our unique purpose as a firm: bringing corporate-level strategies to founders earlier in their journey, helping them understand their numbers from budgets, to margins, to financial levers that accelerate growth and improve profitability.
Rebranding allowed me to put a name and a face to the vision that’s been quietly guiding our work for years, which is why, after 15 years, the rebrand has felt both natural, inevitable— and, in many ways, like a rebirth.
Beyond a new logo, color palette, and website, the process prompted me to look inward and rediscover the deeper “why” behind our work. It has reminded me that beyond supporting businesses to thrive, we’re building legacies for our families, our communities, and the generations that come after us.
Keeping these lessons at the forefront, the search for a name that truly reflected our purpose led me repeatedly to one: Magda. Inspired by the Magdalena River in Colombia, the river that borders the town where both my father, mother and I were born. It carried me back to the beginning: sitting at the kitchen table as an eight-year-old, reviewing finances with my mother, an accountant herself. Today, my mother is part of our team. That full circle moment has reflected that Magda is the future we’re building alongside the founders we serve.

With Magda, the heart of our work remains the same. It’s finance reimagined: approachable, human, no judgment, and no gatekeeping. We exist for founders (both product-based and service-based) who want to make strategic financial decisions earlier and scale their businesses to new heights. From bookkeeping that fuels clarity to business strategy that drives growth, we’ve always embodied this, but this next chapter expands the way we show up.
To every founder who trusted us in the early days, who brought me into their messy beginnings, who asked questions they were afraid to ask, who let me see the vulnerability behind the spreadsheets…thank you. You are the reason Magda is what it is today.
What began as my leap of faith has grown into something much bigger: a community of bold, innovative, ambitious people building businesses that deserve to thrive.
This next chapter is for you. And I can’t wait to see what we’ll build together.
